COUNTY OFFICIAL OF THE YEAR

It's time to start thinking about your nominations for County Official of the Year! The 2022 County Official of the Year application is able to be downloaded by clicking the link below. The County Official of the Year Award recognizes a county government official or employee who has demonstrated a commitment to excellence in county government both within his or her own community and on a regional or statewide level. We know that there are many many deserving individuals, so we would love to have at least one nominee from each affiliate group!

The 2021 County Official of the Year Award went to Bob Kahman, CIAO-M, AAS, former IPAI Instructor, and McLean County Chief County Assessment Officer. Here is a video recap of the Award ceremony!

 

This distinction will be made each year to one person representative of the high ideals embraced by the Illinois Association of County Officials, (IACO).
